St Luke, Cranham Park ("we" "us") will use reasonable endeavours to safeguard the privacy of visitors to "St Luke's Cranham with Moor Lane Church" parish web site (www.stlukescranham.org and www.moorlanechurch.org), and our "Parish Team" (http://sites.google.com/a/stlukescranham.org/pt/) and "Moor Lane Church Pre-School" (http://sites.google.com/a/stlukescranham.org/mlcps/) sub-sites ("our web sites"). This policy explains what information we gather when you visit our web sites and explains how we use that information.

Data you provide

If you contact us, as well as providing an e-mail address you may provide other personal details at your discretion. This information will be stored on computers and back-up media owned by us and our staff and our sites' host - Google.

We will use information you provide, including personal information, in order to respond to your requests. We may, from time to time, contact you with information about us, our activities and other institutions and events we consider may be of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive such communications, please let us know by contacting the Administration Team via our Parish Office.

We do not sell, lease or provide personal information to third parties unless we explicitly tell you we will do so, or are required to do so by law.

Data collected to improve our web sites

We use Google Analtyics to generate detailed statistics about how you found and used our web sites, including the pages visited, how long you stayed, your language and geographical position, as well as details of your browser capabilities and network properties. This uses a piece of JavaScript code on every page of our web sites which collects anonymous data and sends it Google. It also adds a cookie on your computer or device (e.g. your phone) which uniquely identifies your browser. This is a small file of data used to store anonymous information such as whether you have been to our web sites before, the date and time of your current visit and how you found our web sites e.g. search engine etc. Google use this data to provide us with a number of analytical reports. You can still use our web sites without providing this information to Google by blocking, or not enabling, Javascript and by deleting or blocking cookies.

These statistics do not contain personal data. However, under some (but not all) circumstances it may be possible to infer from the name or network address of the computer making the request the identity of the person making the request.

This data may on occasion be passed to the administrators of other computer systems to enable investigation of problems accessing our web sites or of system misconfigurations.

Otherwise the logged information is not passed to any third party except if required by law.

This information may be kept indefinitely.

Photographs

Careful consideration is always given to the use of photographs on our web sites which are used in accordance with the following guidelines:

• Portrait photos will only be used with verbal consent

• Portraits of children will not be used without parent's or guardian's consent

• Only members of staff will be identified by their full name

In group photographs it is impractical to obtain individual consent.

We will remove a photograph from our web sites as soon as practical upon request from a person, or the parent or guardian of a child, in the photograph.

Access to and removal of data

It is your right to request details of the information we hold about you.
