Reverend James Rigby - Vicar

We are delighted and very excited to announce that the Reverend James Rigby has accepted the Bishop's invitation to become our new Vicar. James is currently a curate at St Andrew's, Chorleywood in the St Albans diocese.

He is married to Megan and they have two young children, Arabelle and Hugo.

James will be formally collated on 23rd September and further details of this will be provided in due course.

As your Parish Representatives, we are both in complete agreement that God has called James to lead us into the next exciting phase of ministry in our Parish and further afield.

James says: ”Megan and I have been greatly encouraged by the way God has led us to Cranham Park over the last few months. It has been a privilege to meet some of you during this process of discernment and we are very much looking forward to joining you at the end of the summer. We believe God has great things ahead for us together as we seek his will for St Luke’s, Moor Lane and Kingdom Overflow.”

We would like to express our thanks to Chris, our Archdeacon, along with Ken, the Area Dean for Havering, and Johanna, the Lay Chair of the Deanery Synod, for their support over the past 18 months and to you all for your patience, support and prayers as we’ve journeyed together. Please do continue to pray for James and his family as they prepare to join us and lead us.

To God be the glory, great things he has done!

 Stuart and Sharon
