  • All for £15 each!

  • Pay on the day but please register using the link below so we can cater for you!

MfC:Breakfasts

Throughout the year we occasionally come together on a Saturday morning in St Luke’s Church centre to share breakfast together (£4 for a full English breakfast, payable on the day) followed by an informal, relaxed, and sometimes challenging talk.

Our invited speakers come and share a little of their own Christian story with us, where they were, where they are now, and the joys and challenges that still lay ahead as a man following Christ.

Typically we will start to eat at 9am (although coffee and tea is available from 8.30am), followed by the talk and finishing no later than 11am (unless otherwise stated).

Please refer back here for details of our next breakfast event

So, if you haven't been to a breakfast before, why not come along, bring a mate with you and meet a few of the others guys from the church? You don't have to be a member of the church, just someone who is open to understanding more about the Christian faith in an informal and relaxed setting.

So we can ensure there is enough food for everyone PLEASE, PLEASE let us know you are coming by either registering HERE OR adding your name to the sign up sheet found on the reception desk at St Lukes Church OR just emailing us at TheMfCgroup@gmail.com

Got Questions about LIFE? Join an Alpha Course!

The Alpha course is designed to give you the opportunity to explore the big questions of life and faith. With thought-provoking weekly sessions, Alpha is an informal and friendly way to explore the Christian faith and to think about what's important in life.

Questions like;

    • What's the point of it all?

    • What happens when we die?

    • Is forgiveness possible?

    • Who is Jesus, and what relevance is he to my life ?

If this might be for you, or if you know someone who you could invite along, full details and the chance to sign up to our next course can be found by following this link - The Alpha Course at St Lukes

MfC at "The Tap Room' in Upminster: first Wednesday of every month

On the first Wednesday of every month, starting at 8pm, a number of us gather for a catch up over a beer at 'The Tap Room' pub in Sunnyside Gardens, Upminster. A chance to catch up with those we meet in church, and to invite those guys new to the church, or to faith, to come and get to know people. Come for a beer or a coke, come for an hour or stay all night. Get it in your diary and why not bring someone along one month.

Notification of all the events on this page are sent via the MfC group email. If you are not already on the group email, click the 'return to home page' button at the top of this page and then click the 'subscribe' button OR drop us a line at themfcgroup@gmail.com to have yourself added.

Mfc Saturday Morning Football: every Saturday!

Every Saturday, a bunch of guys of all ages get together from Church for a game of football. Meeting at Upminster Hall playing fields (next to the Tithe Barn) every Saturday from 11am through to about 1pm. (no problem if you arrive late or need to leave early)

Ability, fitness and age are really not important (thankfully!). I hadn't kicked a football for twenty years until I came along to this (still can't actually). So why not dust off your boots and come along one week, you can play for as long or as little as you like, it would just be great to see you. Any questions, just email us at themfcgroup@gmail.com and we'll let you know all about it.
